Newell Cheatheam elected AIBD Central District Director.
International Building Designer Newell Cheatheam, CPBD, FAIBD, tibd President of Newell’s Designs www.newellsdesigns.com of Katy, Texas, on February 7, 2014 during the AIBD Midyear Meeting in Las Vegas, NV was nominated National Central District Director of AIBD by The Board of Directors and House of Delegates of American Institute of Building Design www.aibd.org. There are 18 states in the Central District.
Cheatheam has been a Certified Professional Building Designer member of TIBD www.tibd.org and AIBD www.aibd.org for over 40 years and also he is a Texas Registered Interior Designer. Cheatheam has served on the TIBD Board of Directors and committees over the years since 1978. As an International Building Designer, Cheatheamwww.newellcheatheam.com has won both Texas and national design competition awards in designing remodeling and new construction of custom homes and commercial projects.
